🎀 October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month*
What’s Happening? October is breast cancer awareness month, and newsletter partner Moving Spirit Pilates is co-hosting an event made especially for those of us who are on a breast cancer journey. Whether you’re newly diagnosed, a long-time survivor, or the friend or family of a breast cancer fighter or survivor, this event is for you.
What You Need to Know: New Beginnings: Voices, Wisdom & Community on Your Breast Cancer Journey is coming up on Thursday, October 23rd (7 to 9 PM) at Coast Outdoors in North Van. The evening will feature 2x Olympic kayaker Kamini Jain, who will share her story of resilience as an athlete, coach, and breast cancer survivor. Moving Spirit Pilates has also launched a $5,000 fundraising campaign to help fund research, expand support programs, and empower those affected by breast cancer. Support the effort with a one-time donation, team fundraiser, or percentage-of-sales pledge - every contribution makes a difference. Donate here.
