No giveaway this week, but we’ll work on finding more cool small businesses to collaborate with. And if you own a small business and want to chat, just hit reply!

  • 🍔 Palermo Cucina is now Burger Zoghali (and they still have live music) Palermo Cucina is no longer…sort of. The prices are on the higher end for a happy hour, but the options are far from run-of-the-mill: Chicken Liver Mousse ($16), Tarte Flambée ($19), cheese plates ($16), and crevette (shrimp) a la Parisienne ($18). They also have 25% off bottles of wine. You can see their full Happy Hour menu here.

A few highlights this week before we get into the events section:

🐻 Name That Bear (A Contest)

Last week, we asked you to choose a new North Shore Now mascot, and the North Shore Crew overwhelming chose the bear. Now we need to name the bear.

Tell us your best suggestion, and we’ll have a North Shore Crew vote in next week’s newsletter to determine the winner. Whoever submits the winning name will win a prize. (We have a few prize ideas, but nothing firmed up yet, so it will be a surprise prize).

🎩 How Do You Feel About Hats?

We’re thinking about making a super small run of North Shore Crew ball caps, mostly because we want some for ourselves, but also so we can identify other North Shore Crew members in the wild (maybe we can work on a secret handshake, too?).

If you think a North Shore Crew hat sounds cool, vote “yes” on the poll below - we’ll shoot you an email before we make them live, so you get first dibs on what will probably be a very small run.

Should we make a few North Shore Crew hats?
