🍱 Hand Rolls Have Hit the North Shore. Forget pre-rolled sushi—2025 is all about hand rolls. If you’re looking for hand rolls on the North Shore, Tap & Barrel has them on the menu as of March 5 (part of their Spring Fresh Sheet) and Hello Nori at Park Royal (underneath The Keg at Park Royal South) specializes in hand rolls.
🇫🇷 La Régalade French Dinner is Back: Orto Artisan Pasta’s monthly French dinner is back on March 26. It’s typically a set menu for $68 per person. The menu hasn’t been released yet, but you can peep past menus on Instagram. Reservation required, so make one online or call 604-929-0203.
🍔 Isetta has a Burger Series starting March 31. Isetta Café & Bistro is launching a Canadian/American Regional Burger Series at the end of the month. Every 2 weeks they’ll have a new burger, such as the Oklahoma Onion Burger, Michigan Olive Burger, Wisconsin Butter Burger, and more. More on their Insta.

🚵 Grouse Mountain Bike Park News. According to our top-secret sources, passes for the brand-new Grouse Mountain Bike Park are expected to go on sale April 30. There will be day tickets and season passes, with green, blue, and black terrain, plus lessons for kids and teens, and summer camps. Pass prices are rumoured to be as follows: adults ($499), youth/student ($429), seniors ($429) and kids ($299).
🍻 Brewski Tickets are On Sale. Brewski returns to Cypress on March 15 and 16. Expect tastings from local breweries and distilleries, and a DJ from 12pm- 3pm. 19+ [Tickets]

🚧 Traffic Alerts and Lane Closures for North & West Van
(North Van - Mountain Highway Between East 14th and East 17th) Single lane traffic each way between February 26 and March 12 for roadworks. Except delays.
(North Van - 342 Mountain Highway) Sidewalks will be replaced on Mountain Hwy between Bond St & Crown St until end of March. Traffic control will assist traffic.
(North Van - 220 Mountain Highway) Works continue on upgrading utilities along Oxford St. Minor delays are expected.
(North Van - Mountain Highway Between E 14th and E 17th) Mountain Hwy will be reduced to single lane traffic each way between February 26 and March 12 for roadworks. Except delays.
(North Van - Riverside Drive at Windridge Drive) Riverside Dr will be reduced to single lane alternating traffic between 9am and 5pm until the end of March. Expect minor delays.
(North Van - Mount Seymour Parkway Between Lytton St and Emerson Way) Mount Seymour Pkwy will be reduced to one lane eastbound from 7am to 5pm until March 14 for sidewalk and road improvements. Expect delays.
(North Van - 229 Seymour River Pl) Single lane alternating traffic on Old Dollarton Rd and Riverside Dr until March 6. Please use alternate routes and expect delays. Front St will be closed intermittently for deliveries during the week for approximately 2-3 hours per day until end of April.
(North Van - Lonsdale & Marine Drive) Replacement of 20 aging street light poles along Lonsdale Ave and Marine Drive, between Feb 24 and March 28. Curb lane and parking lane closures during construction, between 7am and 3pm.
(North Van - 300 Block E 3rd St) Emergency repair of LEC communication conduits between March 4 and 7. Sidewalk and lane closure required to facilitate construction, bi-directional traffic maintained on 3rd Street between 7am-3pm.
(North Van - 1100 and 1200 Blocks of Lonsdale) New water valves are being installed March 10 - 12. Street work will take place 7am to 4:30pm, as well as a water shut-down from 7pm March 11 to 3am March 12. During construction, 1100 and 1200 blocks of Lonsdale will be single-lane traffic with parking restrictions.
