♻️ North Vancouver is turning wastewater into clean energy

Construction is underway on a new Urban Heat Recovery Centre that will recover heat from wastewater that would normally go down the drain, including showers, laundry and dishwashing, and use it to warm more than 120 buildings. It’s part of Lonsdale Energy's district energy system and should be complete in 2027. It will provide enough low-carbon heating for more than 18,000 people while cutting greenhouse gas emissions by an estimated 7,600 tonnes each year, about the equivalent of taking 2,700 cars off the road. 🧘 Lululemon brings free outdoor fitness classes to North Van

North Vancouver is the only Canadian city selected for Lululemon's free Summer Series, bringing weekly outdoor yoga and Pilates classes to Burrard Dry Dock Pier. Grouse's 100-year history drone show lights up the night

As part of its Centennial Festival, A Century of Stories brings hundreds of drones together for a spectacular aerial show. Set to cinematic music, the performance tells the story of Grouse Mountain through light, animation and storytelling, making it one of the festival's biggest highlights. Thursday, Friday & Saturday 8:30pm, drones start about 9:30pm. More info
